I felt like I was dressing up in my mother's clothes: it was my knees and a lot of fabric. I know it's supposed to be a paper bag style but I didn't really like it because it was too much fabric even though it is slim around the waist. I figured. Since it was a stretch, the waist was loose enough to fit over my hips. I would not recommend it. My hips are 42 inches, I usually wear an 8/10 and I'm 5'3".
