Great grip for hand quilting!
I've tried other rubber pads but they are slippery silicone that just slides on. Clover currently has the best gripping thimbles that help guide the needle through the fabric. It's thick enough to protect against small accidental stitches. I still use this combo with a metal thimble on my other finger for pressing. But for pulling and smooth lateral pushing, the grip is excellent. I use it for hand quilting and it's great.
