I used to use sulfate free shampoos and never liked them - they didn't lather and didn't feel like my hair was clean. However, I know that sulfate-free is better for your hair, which is why I decided to try this brand. I used it for me and my girls. Two of us have baby fine, thin hair, the other daughter has thick hair. This shampoo does not foam and cleans the hair very well. I have noticed that all of our hair is very soft, easier to comb, less tangled and shinier. The conditioner does not weigh down the hair. It has a mint or menthol flavor which I don't like but don't mind. My hair has highlights and I needed a purple shampoo to get rid of yellowing so I bought Everpure Purple Shampoo as I really liked it.
