This shirt definitely runs small. I usually wear an XL but ordered a 2xl per the advise of other reviews. It's a bit snug, and that's not the look I was going for. I am 5'8", 223ish and am a bit voluptuous in the bosom area. I think this was a midlife crisis purchase because I am in my early 40's and thought an off the shoulder sweater would be a good look. I think if it was true to size, it would look better. Sadly, the is another Best Buy clothing fail.
