I must say this does much more than I'll likely ever use it for and haven't tried most of the settings, just the single photo shutter release and multiple photo shutter release. I was able to stand inside my house with the remote and take these pictures of the birds at my bird feeder. There is no way I could do that standing outside by the feeder. The great thing about it is that the receiving end doesn't need to be pointed right at the remote. I had it hanging down with the camera on a tripod and a flash on top and it worked great. Then I took the flash off and put the receiving end on pointing the wrong direction and it still worked great. I highly suggest it, just make sure you choose the right one for your camera. Mine is a Canon EOS T6.
