Don't go to the dealership if your electronics still work
It had working electronics but the small metal discs that make contact with the key fob stayed in place so my truck turned on when the key fob was pressed in my pocket. The replacement came with metal washers attached to the buttons so I fitted the electronics from an old key fob and it works great. Will buy a second one to replace my other keychain.
