Not as strong as it seems.
The box showed signs of being dropped: one corner was damaged and the front left corner was creased. This made assembly difficult. We needed it for an out of town trip and didn't have time to wait for a replacement. While we were away we had to leave our 15kg dog in a cage for a few hours. She managed to break 5-6 inches of the tray. I think we'll use it again next time we go somewhere, but I'm disappointed.
