These are great casual shoes. First I went with black. A little stiff on the forefoot, after a few days the skin loosens up, you can feel the movement towards the foot. I love watching Merrell. Let this chaos slide well in GTX. I don't wear wide ones but I assume you have a wide foot, they might be on the narrow side. They have great grip and I haven't experienced any heel slippage. They are more breathable than I expected. I really like her. I usually wear a 14 but I went for 15 and it worked great. hope this helps other buyers
