I have been using the Aroma NutriWare 14 Cup Digital Rice Cooker for about a month now. I feel ready for a review. I am very detailed when reviewing a product. You might find this review helpful. Pros: The removable stainless steel insert is great for cleaning, even if the rice is burnt. Transitions to keep warm pretty well (once you figure it out) * Cons - rice cookers tend to splatter a lot of water/rice starch on the counter during cooking - using a steamer basket to avoid spilling it on the counter creates another thing to wash Other thoughts - I've tried using less water so it doesn't splash all over the countertop but that would just set the rice on fire and transition poorly to the keep warm function. - I ended up using a steamer basket to give the lid extra height so I can use more water. Therefore, the rice will not be ignited before it enters the keep warm mode. See image. (I know there are probably ways to avoid cooking by adding certain ingredients or handling the rice differently) - now I always get the perfect mess-free pot of rice. I only have one more thing to wash when I'm done. Overall, I still like the rice cooker. Designing the best stainless steel pot lid always gets 5 stars. Due to this inherent situation that I have to work to cook the rice properly. I deducted a star.
