Just received this so I'm guessing durability will depend on the overall feel of the finish. Not the most durable of materials, but suitable for my use (at home, in a bag without travel, etc.). It does NOT have a magnetic lock/wake function, but to be honest you can set the tablet to wake up with two light touches on the touchscreen, so it's not really inconvenient unless you're really into the feature accustomed and do not put it purely to her. That. I really like the wide black rubber band for attaching the case. It is attached to the inside of the front cover and wraps around the tablet so that it is on the bottom during use and does not cover the front cover at all. The embossing is beautiful and the color (I chose brown) is rich and beautiful. Some have complained that access to the power and volume buttons is not optimal. I haven't had this problem. There's no cutout for it, but there is a flexible rubber section that covers the buttons. The buttons are easy to feel under the material and could make it more clean and dirt-free. The cutouts for the camera, micro-USB charging port, headphone jack, and speaker are right where they should be. In general I like it very much.
