The iPad came in unofficial Apple packaging and chargers, but no scratches on the screen or back. I bought this digital art iPad along with the Apple Pencil and I have to say that it works very well and is very natural for drawing as well as for writing and noting with almost no lag. The iPad feels fast and responsive and doesn't feel old at all. You can point and draw accurately and it works very well. The laminated display is also superior to the new iPad 2018 as there is no gap between the pen and the drawing on the screen. The downsides of the iPad I received were minor scratches that were visible on the metal bezel on the side of the device, it's a smaller display for drawing and it can feel a bit cramped, especially in split screen, but that means that it is very mobile and fits in any decent sized packages. All in all I would definitely recommend this for amateur and maybe professional artists on a budget. 👍
