I have used Slik and Manfrotto products for 40 years. The specifications of this tripod are the same as those that cost 4 times. I believe the overall quality of the tripod will meet the needs of most amateur photographers as long as they are careful not to over-tighten any of the set screws. My complaint is that I did not receive the smartphone adapter with the delivery. I have many cameras and having a tripod that works with my iPhone was one of the reasons I bought this tripod as I enjoy the functionality of smartphone cameras when taking photos. Please send me a smartphone adapter!
