Review on Microsoft Surface 3 Docking Station - Enhanced Compatibility, SC EN/XD/ES Hdwr (GJ3-00001) by Richard Counts

EDIT #3 (10/17/2019): I got my third replacement and it has ANOTHER bug. It doesn't match the ports. At this point, it's probably safe to say that all Surface 3 docks are buggy. Guess I'll have to use the micro USB connector 😒 EDIT #2 (10/12/2019): After 7 days of diligent use of this dock, it has decided to stop working. The indicator on the side of the dock doesn't light up when I plug it in. How unlucky am I that I received two duds? Another replacement is currently being requested. EDIT (10/5/2019): Turns out the dock I ordered was unreliable. I received my replacement today and it fixed my USB connection issue! Don't be afraid to ask for a replacement if you have the same problem! I bought it for a used Surface 3 that my little sister got. Charges fine, but the Surface doesn't seem to be reading the dock's USB, which means the keyboard and mouse receiver connected to the dock isn't reading either ☹️. That pretty much means she has to wait for it to charge fully before using it, which is pretty inconvenient. I've ordered a replacement, hope it makes a difference. Maybe it's because my Surface 3 is running Windows 10 ☹️
