Before I bought this little guy, I got one of those rubber duckies that tell you if it's hot or not. Well, they really don't work very well and you can't really tell how "too hot" the water is on them. As a kid, I burned my little brother's foot trying to bathe him, so I was always worried about doing something like that to my little brother. This little guy will tell you and you can see without turning his ducks and also the light so you know. In addition, you can turn it on in the room in advance to know whether the bathroom is too cold or not. This is probably my favorite purchase for a baby bath time.
