100/100WOW! This "candle” looks awesome! It is very solidly built. It looks and feels "waxy” and the candy cane decorations look elegantly nice, not glitter-tacky "nice”.I immediately stuck in a set of batteries (NOT INCLUDED) and flipped it on. Wow. Standing right up over it, the "candle” is obviously fake, but step 3 feet away and you’d never know it wasn’t a candle flame without really focusing on it. Put it in a "hurricane globe” and it’s almost impossible to tell.The next day after thoroughly recharging the batteries (2 low self discharge NiMH AA), I turned it on at about 0900 and let it "burn”. Several times during the day I caught myself thinking "I better check that candle” . . . then catching myself remembering it’s NOT a candle! LOL It "burned” until I went to bed well after midnight . . . about 15 hours, not bad. Next day, turned it on at about 0800 and it "burned” until well past midnight, when again, I turned it off for the night. I’m certain the battery life on this is good (especially if you use rechargables).The "better half” said it’s very comforting . . . Like having a fire.10 days later, and the batteries are still going strong. When we move it we also still catch ourselves thinking to be careful of the heat, etc. LOL . . . This "candle" is better than the real thing!I’m confident we’ll be getting more of them . . . and Luminara specifically. You cannot go wrong with these.Ultimately, is it worth the price? Absolutely!
