Review on ☕️ Hamilton Beach 47950 Coffee Maker - 12 Cup Capacity, Internal Storage Coffee Pot, Brewstation - Black/Stainless Steel by Mike Littlejohn

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I liked the idea that this is a 12 cup combo.

The main reason I ordered this was because I was tired of messing around with coffee carafes. I liked the idea that this is a combination of a 12-cup coffee maker with the convenience of Keurig. And at this level he did not disappoint. However, there are a few things that bother me. Like most people who use a coffee maker, it sits on my countertop under my cabinets. And of course I have to pull them out of the wall to fill, clean or whatever. I had an issue with the small silicone rubber feet on the base. When I slide it across the table top the legs pop out of the base and I have to put them back in place. To avoid this I need to elevate the device. However, the front pan is removable, so it comes off every time I lift it. I know it's little things, but like I said, it's annoying. Keeping it clean is a bit easier than the drippers I had. Because the water tank is much easier to clean than most conventional drippers. Technically, the reservoir and filter basket are stacked on top of the tank at the base. Because the coffee pot is removable, the tank is fully accessible for cleaning. As with all drip makers, you still have to do the vinegar ritual to descale the elements, but at least you can keep the tank clean of residue. All in all, it makes a pretty good cup of coffee. I set it up for the night and program it to brew before I get up in the morning. Since it can keep the coffee warm for up to 4 hours, I usually brew 6 to 8 cups and drink it throughout the day. I know this is a mortal sin for coffee lovers and snobs, but I doubt they'll even look at coffeemakers like this.
