Review on Olympus Pearlcorder S701ACC Microcassette Recorder: High-Quality Recording Device by Elton Luo

I bought this recorder for my 87 year old father and I needed something easy to use, good quality for the price. I tested it myself and then showed him how to use it. (Elderly people have difficulties with technology). He has buttons big enough for his fingers and he seemed to figure out how they work pretty easily. He likes to study the Bible so he can play it later when he gets home, as sometimes he can't hear things due to his age. It also keeps him busy and he really enjoys his new toy and talks out loud. (Maybe I shouldn't have bought it). Anyway, my brother sent him the digital version, but I knew it wouldn't work. Too heavy. It's a great little Dictaphone for school use or for reading an essay or memoir, and I'd rate the recorded sound quality as average to good.
