Size as expected. I ordered 1.5" to wear with my dress uniform and 1.7" to use with my cargo/bdu pants. I have worn 1.5 inch pants twice and have never had to adjust my pants. I work in a correctional facility and need to remove my belt for security reasons (similar to daily airport security). Time to take this belt off than any other belt, maybe even faster since the nylon is smooth and doesn't snag from the belt loops. The buckle is well constructed. I see myself trying to resist it, but I'll try my luck when it comes to life and death.
