What I like about this set are the desaturated but interesting colors it contains. They are not too bright, not neon, not loud, not dark - simple and beautiful. It is important to note that the required base and top coats are NOT included in the kit so you will need to have them on hand or purchase several. When using varnish I found the brushes were pretty bad. It's like they were made from cheap makeup brushes rather than harder nail polish brushes with just the right stiffness to have some control over the nail polish when applying. It took me a lot longer to do my nails because the brushes were of poor quality and because the nail polish just dripped on them instead of being applied on top. In the end though after very careful application it seemed to work and the nails looked good after 3 coats. It's certainly not the worst gel polish I've used, but it's not the best either. The quality of the brush was pretty poor which made painting the nails very difficult. I give weak 4 stars. Thank you for reading.
