Review on Turbo Energizing Cleanser by Jack Black by Ann George

Monoblock that convinced Cynic Over

I wasn't optimistic about this product. I've never had exceptional experiences with all-in-one bath products, and as a tall, sweaty, greasy guy with bushy hair, I need something that works consistently and without the fuss. Also, I'm newly married and used to my wife's salon shampoo and didn't think an all-purpose shampoo could compare. But after a few separate recommendations from friends and reading reviews, I bought the shampoo. the smallest tube and decided to give it a try. Now I'm in love Now it may seem like it won't save much time. And it's not, not really, but it makes it nice and easy to take a few pumps, wash your hair, and use the rest to lightly wash your body. When I'm in a hurry in the morning (ie every morning) it's perfect, a convenience store, and I'm ready. The smell is just fantastic. Eucalyptus and juniper, like in a spa or a good gym. I don't use it right before bed as my wife doesn't like strong smells and describes the smell as "peppery". But that's okay, for me it's mostly a morning product. Jack Black has done a great job creating a fragrance that is masculine yet unique and not "musky". It's a luxurious scent, that's it. The most important part, the cleaning skills are great. The product doesn't leave my hair as silky and smooth as my wife's $25-a-bottle shampoos. But it's dense and certainly doesn't leave the residue or 'squeaky' you get from cheaper shampoos. The shampoo alone would cost quite a lot. But as a body wash I have nothing to complain about at all. There is no body wash that will keep me clean and cute for more than a few hours, but this one is just as good as any. Again, there is no residue. Easy to wash and lather, it completely removes sweat and grease without drying you out. That's all I can ask. Is it expensive. People like to downplay it. No, it's still expensive. This will be your decision - how much you want to spend on such things. I will say that as an active user, one large bottle lasts me about 2.5 months. I can spend $50 on a good bath product that lasts that long. Oh, did I mention it smells great!
