You get what you pay for

I debated rating this unit a 2 or 3 because it does the job despite being cheaply made and I probably received a defective unit. The glove that was delivered to me had open side seams and the velcro to tighten the glove on the wrist had come loose; although maybe I could just sew it back together. Does its job of removing hair from your pet, it may only need to go through the coat a few times. I have used it on my Australian Shepherd as an alternative to a metal deshedder which would be softer; it worked and she didn't mind the rubber feet. This is just my experience but I thought it might be helpful to share.
