The clippers hold a great charge, I can clip both of my medium sized pups and it still has plenty of battery life left. The clippers without any of the length guards works great, but the plastic clips/guards are flimsy and get hung up VERY easily (even if the pups are brushed out super well). I have a 65lb dog with thick, long hair who hates being groomed so unfortunately had some matting. We have a short haired labrador, BUT BearBear didn't get his name from having not a lot of hair. It's pretty thick. Now that its summer instead of a trim we wanted to shave him down. The clippers were so easy to use. They didn't pull hair and at 50% charge I was able to get all 110 lbs of him. I purchased AIBORS Dog Grooming Clippers and they lasted almost exactly a year and they were not as good and a piece broke. I hope these last longer and if not I sure will get these again.

so it calls the second blade "ceramic" but it looks like plastic to me. I was very doubtful as soon as i saw the "ceramic"/plastic cutting blade. Good price point, a groomer-quality clipper will cost you 3 to 4 times as much. Quiet, 3 speeds and handy blade depth adjustment ring. Downsides- this clipper bogged down in serious matting on my tom cat, he wasn’t happy. I found technique and playing w/ adjustments can help you de-mat a problem coat, it’ll just take more time. Lowering the blade depth (at speed 3) and using a gentle "lift” into the mat helped free the hairballs. Under-cutting a wad on the approach all along it’s edge helped…

Good clippers. But like many it will not cut with guards on. I have a poodle and before I used the clippers I did trim with scissors. I finally took the guard off and shaved him all the way down. I could have done that with my old cheaper clippers. I will keep these so I will have two working pair. So, only 4 stars because of only 1 option for length. Everything else worked perfectly.

Love how quite the shaver is and it works well on my golden doodle's thick fur, but the guards suck. They constantly snag the fur. I don't use them at all now and just adjust the shaver itself but cut her down short. Which really stinks when you want a medium cut.

It worked perfectly on my dogs. It was not noisy as other clippers I have used before. My dogs took their haircut without any hassle. Being that it's battery it's better to manage than with the wire getting in the way. I was able to do two dogs [Yorkies] haircuts without having to recharge. I would highly recommend this clipper plus the price is reasonable.
