These towels are great! They are smooth/tender, smell slightly fresh and natural and clean very well. I've read other reviews about residue and strong odor which I believe were written by people with no experience with natural cleaning products (or Clorox and Lysol wipes) and was expecting a different product. It is very important to remember what these wipes are for. They are designed to disinfect and clean and they do an excellent job. These are not glass cleaning wipes and they can leave a bit of a residue, which I like because it means the natural sanitizers stay on the item and kill more germs after I'm done. If for some reason I need a polished finish, I just use a dry terry towel to quickly wipe things down afterwards. In terms of smell, Seventh Generation, Clorox and Lysol wipes smell much stronger, irritate my skin, some have beneficial ingredients and also leave residue. So, for comparison, this is a softer and cleaner option. I have now switched to Benefect permanently. We use a lot of napkins in our family so a large container is fine for us, but I see we need a smaller one. Otherwise, I find these wipes very gentle and effective.
