I looked long and hard for a compatible pump replacement that's 7/8th inch shaft, and selected this one, hoping it would fit. It slid right on, bolted together easily and worked with my existing hose and fittings. I connected everything, tightened t four bolts, connected the hoses and everything worked perfectly.The only downside is that there is a gap at the top and sides where water may get in, so I put some high temperature caulking on the top and side gaps, leaving the bottom open for any water to escape.Otherwise, I love this pump.
