These pens are short, the barrel (handle) is approximately 3 inches and the cord is approximately 3 inches long. There is a protrusion (about 1/2 inch) at the end that fits into the phone's earpiece. It is simply inserted into the nest, trapped inside, and easily removed. It works great and accurate since I'm using it on a Samsung Galaxy Android phone. Requires a light touch on the touchscreen. It's easy to use for drag and drop, copy/paste, etc. I think it's a rubber tip, but it doesn't leave a "trace" on my screen like other pens do. They are exactly as described. Do the 12 pens come in durable vinyl? Case and microfiber cloth for your phone. This is my second purchase of the exact same item. The size is perfect for phone, wallet, pocket, power bank storage case, etc. Medical condition allows for finger typing. , Scrolling is difficult: With this 12-pack I always have a stylus with me.
