I first bought one of these as a nightgown for my mum. She lives in a nursing home. The person who washed it hung it in the closet. The next day I see my mother wearing it as a dress. Instead of pointing out her mistake, I completed it with a brooch and added a cardigan. Got lots of compliments, cleans well. If it is hung up after drying, it can be worn. You need the lightest iron. The bulge is not visible. Mum, mid 80s, wears overalls underneath. But in my opinion the slip is not needed. The fabric is quite dense, so it hangs well and doesn't shine through. A great comfortable dress for mom to put on herself and feel good about her appearance. I have ordered more colors for her. The budget and mom are very happy. I even bought one. It's up to her knees. I'm 5'7" and 225 pounds (50 bust, 42 waist 50 hips) this fits with 1-2 inches of ease. Please do not confuse these measurements with shirt sizes, I have washed and worn them many times. For me it can be sticky after drying, but stretches when I'm unwrapped and sitting and moving. I have no problem wearing it as a casual dress at home and to go shopping.
