This is a beautifully made hat -- I wish I didn't have the issues with it that I do. I have a big head, especially for a woman, so I ordered a large. It was too loose, so I ordered a medium. It is a bit tight. Tried stretching it some, but that didn't really make enough of a difference. Sigh. I do wear the medium a little, but can't wear it for very long, as the band inside the front is really itchy. I don't think it is wool, so I don't know why it is like that, but it is.

The hat is bigger than others of the same size! Also I was not able to get my 1 year warranty & free cleaning kit as stated on a card attached to the hat . I filled it all the information correctly, however it said "order ID not correct” total waste of time. Not satisfied. Just another hat to hang on the wall.

This hats alright for the price but it is just a baseball cap with some fake fur on the back and sides to cover your ears. This will do very little to keep your head warm when it’s cold outside.

We ordered two of these hats. We were concerned that they might be a bit small. The measurement of my head was slightly larger than the range identified for the XL hat, but the hat fits well. It is snug, without being tight. It is warm. The ear flaps work, but we suspect that with a wind from the front they won't provide as much warmth as from other directions. We like these hats and would order them again.

By raising or lowering the earflaps, this hat can be comfortable in a variety of temperatures and circumstances. Lowering the flaps protects the back of the neck. The bill is wide and has good length, which provides protection from the sun. Obviously, it will not protect the face like a balaclava in really cold and windy situations. I rolled the dice on this hat as many of us have with revain clothing as was pleasantly surprised. I wanted a hat that would be warm in cold weather, but not so warm that it was un-wearable in cool temps. I think this cap would be very comfy down to perhaps 15°F, even colder if not too windy.It has a deep crown, so even with the flap folded up, the lower edge of the cap is below the top of my ears. Overall this is a pretty good hat especially considering the low price. The fabric feels nice and even the fake fur is rich. Seems pretty well stitched and I would expect it to last a while. Ultimately I decided to return it because the style is just a little bit off. It looks like a tacticool baseball hat with ear flaps. It would be way more classy if it was just a little different. But if that's your thing go for it!

We do lots of hiking, so I got this hat to use for that. It is very warm and the ear flaps work well. It sits very low on my head and is a bit large, although a large size fits me well in most hats. The bill is large and gives good protection from the sun, rain or snow.

I was disappointed that the fur was just at the fold down but the receiver was more than happy with the lining, construction and fit. He figured once he broke it in, the outside bill points wouldn't dig into his forehead. Now all he needs is some Red Green suspenders .

I gave this hat 5 stars even though it is a SHADE (just a shade) too small. Everything else about the has is perfect. The color is a classic grey, the ear flaps snap in the up position so there are not any tie-up strings to get snagged on stuff or that need to be tied when wearing gloves; I mean like dude - this IS a cold weather hat. The hat fits as I expected a large to fit. Seems well made and sturdy but time will tell. I ordered navy, a solid color but received the black with a faint window pane pattern. However, the product tag said "Navy", and the SKU/Model # was for the navy as well, so the hat was labeled incorrectly. I'm not going exchange it however. I like this about as well as navy but they need to watch the tagging of the merchandise more carefully.

The cap fit fine, and the quality was good, but the earflaps did not extend far enough to cover the ear lobes, plus the flaps flared a bit and didn't hold tightly.

I ordered the navy in a size Large. The ad copy stated a range of 22.8"-23.6" for the Large. I measure 23.3 inches. This hat was at least at the very top of that range and likely larger. Considerably looser than I would prefer. Otherwise, I like the hat and it is decent quality for the price. I would exchange it for the smaller size but I'm afraid that would be hugely smaller since they're trying to do a unisex size thing.
