I gave this hat 5 stars even though it is a SHADE (just a shade) too small. Everything else about the has is perfect. The color is a classic grey, the ear flaps snap in the up position so there are not any tie-up strings to get snagged on stuff or that need to be tied when wearing gloves; I mean like dude - this IS a cold weather hat. When the flaps are down they definitely cover the ears and they are warm. The is substantial and pretty stiff so I expect it will last a long time. And the seller sent along some suggestions on care and cleaning that I actually read and intend to follow. And it looks fashionable on the heard of someone (me) that looks weird in most other hats.
