I rolled the dice on this hat as many of us have with revain clothing as was pleasantly surprised. The main fabric of the hat is a very high quality look to it in real life, the charcoal version I ordered has a nice heather look with well sown seams and excellent overall craftsmanship.The size does run just a bit small, so be sure to order up a bit.This hat provides sufficient warmth, even here in Michigan's winter. I have worn it in the 15-20 degree range and been completely comfortable.The inner lining does tend to itch a bit if you wear it when it's much warmer.Negatives? The faux fur exterior actually has a bit of a purple-ish tint to it as opposed to the warm tones in the product images. I was offput by this at first but have gotten used to it.Functionally, I came to appreciate the modular nature of this product. it was really convenient being able to raise and lower the flaps as needed when coming in or going out. When the flaps are down it's an especially good looking product in my opinion.Overall the hat looks great, and I have received several compliments on it and happily wear it everyday. For around $15 it's an awesome value.
