Warm hat on the large side.

We do lots of hiking, so I got this hat to use for that. It is very warm and the ear flaps work well. It sits very low on my head and is a bit large, although a large size fits me well in most hats. The bill is large and gives good protection from the sun, rain or snow.

it actually fit. If it''s too big fold the fur inside and it still fits. This is comfortable on me at 10-45 degrees F - warmer than that and it''s just too dang hot! Well, if you aren''t working and you''re just sitting around - it might be fine for you up to 55 or so. The hat is rough, but not itchy - the fur is obviously fake - but serves the function of real fur by being warm. Honestly, the fur flap crimps the top of my ears and I have to tuck the ear tops into the hat band above the flap to avoid discomfort - but I have big ears. It''s worth the effort though, because the back of my neck is nice and warm!
