I've been using Vimtag cameras for several years now and I'm generally very happy with them. I recently bought 3 CP3 cameras and found the 4MP resolution and specs very good for the price. All my cameras have a hardwired ethernet connection for reliability. Found an unusual issue with night vision. The infrared light source turns on when it gets dark, but turns on and off randomly every few minutes, which is a bit annoying. I physically observed the camera several times in a dark room and saw the red light come on, then go off for a short time, then come on again. I contacted support (very slow response) and they told me to send them back. I replaced them with 3 identical models and unfortunately these cameras do exactly the same thing. I reported this to customer service and it took several emails (36 round trips) to report the issue as I believe they have an issue with the light sensor that controls the IR. In the end I returned these 3 cameras. If reliable night vision is important to you, I wouldn't recommend this particular camera model. All my other old models work fine in night vision (Auto setting) and don't show this problem. I can replace it with one of the other models that didn't have this problem or wait for the problem to be fixed.
