I bought it to put an applique on a bedspread. .

I bought this to make an applique on a quilt. I sewed for hours and then tried to iron it and it didn't melt. I even cut a piece of thread and applied it directly to the hot tip of the hot glue gun but couldn't get it to melt. I didn't check it until I've spent all my time on it because it says FUSIBLE. Shouldn't it react to heat somehow?
