Review on Premium Colored Cardstock Assorted Scrapbooking Crafting by Shantel Griffin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

In general I am satisfied, a little thinner than I am used to but of good quality and with a wide range of colors.

I use cardboard for tasks like lists or notes because it's very thick and strong. Using different colors helps me sort and track my projects, but anything too bold/light will overwrite my text, so I need light or pastel shades to make them stand out. Most of the different sets I see have at least a couple of colors that I will never use, so I was happy that this set has colors that are different from each other but work for writing. Luckily, the colors match very closely. There are some slight differences in the hues from what I was expecting, particularly the darkest blue, but the color is always difficult to judge online. I'm not sure if the inconsistencies are obvious even to those not specifically looking for them, and they all still fit my needs. This cardboard is a little thinner than I'm used to, but not by much. I've tried many brands and found that they are all comparatively thick and durable, so I was a bit surprised that they felt different. I realized that they state the weight of the paper, but wanted to make a note of that anyway because I didn't know beforehand to pay attention. If you are used to buying cardboard, which is readily available at a department store, you may find that it is slightly thinner, but still significantly thicker than regular paper. This is not an obstacle for me, but I mention it as it may be important for other intended purposes (sewing, scrapbooking, etc.). Since I am very satisfied with the colors and the quite competitive price, I would still consider buying it again. It arrived in perfect condition with no creases or creases as it was securely packaged which also makes it more likely that I will buy again based on a previous bad experience with damage in transit. I find any issues I have with it very minor and I would say that overall I had a pleasant buying experience.
