I am very satisfied with this device for the price. This makes it easy for me to avoid handheld shots (especially useful for an older person). And it fits very well in situations where I don't need the benefits of a stabilizer. The setup function set is very suitable for general smartphone filming. I don't feel like my smartphone will fall out of the setup or get damaged by the setup. I find the breadth of the setup is sufficient for general shooting situations where ordinary things can be connected to my large submini tablet smartphone. My only concern is the build quality. Part of my concern stems from other reviewers' opinions of the rig's overall durability. The build is lighter than I expected, making it a little creepy when used with anything other than light attachments (which limits limitations more than I expected, such as the type of LED lighting I use would feel comfortable). There are more curves in the rig than I expected. I wouldn't call this device weak either. I think the real problem is that my expectations were a bit high. Of greater importance is the fit and durability of cold shoes. The tips do not fit tightly in the cold shoe and the plastic seems to be of uneven thickness (which is why the process of clamping the tips in the cold shoe does not evoke positive emotions). But I was happy with my purchase, with some reservations. This setup certainly represents outstanding value for non-professional use and users.
