NO FTDI chipset
This is obviously NOT an FTDI chipset. The small floppy disk that comes with the kit contains only the Prolific driver. If you look closely at the descriptions here, they don't really say what chipset it is - yes, I was scammed. For use as a CI-V (amateur radio) radio control cable, FTDI is much more stable.
