I need to shoot from above. The lamp, the camera holder and the cables that come with it are perfect. The lamp can be unscrewed so that it can be attached to any tripod. This is good because the tripod is cheap. Yes, the tripod tilts down for overhead shooting, but the hinge isn't up to scratch. When installed, it slides, allowing the lamp to slide under 90 degrees. I tried to tie it with tape but it didn't work. You'll also need to attach the water bottle to a tripod to keep it from tipping over. After all this I decided to connect the lamp to my better quality quick release tripod. Now it works like clockwork. The first three pictures show the lamp on a higher-quality tripod with a quick-change platform. The fourth shows a screw for the lamp. The fifth shows the hinge of the included tripod.
