Very softening. I use this cream as an eye cream so this 1 ounce tube lasts a long time. You don't have to apply much and what I put on absorbs very quickly and doesn't leave a greasy residue. It's a super emollient when you apply it and after a few seconds it's gone! No sticky or shiny residue. I like the size of the tube because it easily fits in the bathroom vanity organizer as well as the bedside organizer. It also easily fits into any of my small shoulder bags. It is written that this is an eye cream for the face. Sometimes I apply it all over my face. I think I read somewhere that applying eye cream all over your face is a Japanese or Korean beauty trick to make skin look younger. My skin is mature (64 years old), very dry and wrinkled from excessive sun exposure for many years in my childhood and well into my 20's. I also developed eczema around my lips and eyes. It's not annoying. It's like very expensive department store brands, but even better because of the good, pure ingredients. It has no added flavor. It has a very, very subtle herbal flavor made from natural ingredients. This is a skin care product. I wish it was in a double size tube. The added ceramide provides the skin with super moisture by penetrating deep into the skin layers and plumping them up. Fine lines around the eyes almost disappear. The cream is very easy to apply. i really like it I use three months. It never irritates my very sensitive eyes or equally sensitive very fair skin. Feels great on my skin! It's relatively cheap and seems worth every penny. Worth a try. That's a good value. I was lucky enough to snag it on sale for $10 a tube so I took a chance and bought two of these and I'm so glad I did! I was not paid for this review.
