This little speaker is a beast. It won't rock your house, but it does pack some serious sound for a small wireless speaker. I bought this for my wife to use in the delivery room and now I find it to be used all the time. It's great because it works with all the smartphones via Bluetooth that I bought it for, but it also has an AUX input that you can use with older devices like the Zune or iPod. Unless you're a speaker banging your eardrums, don't worry about a jambox or anything like that. This speaker is pretty loud. So the reviews don't seem to understand that the device you're using controls the maximum audio output. This means that when the audio on your Bluetooth device is too low, the speaker will be at its loudest. For best results, increase the volume on your Bluetooth device so that the speaker volume control is at the full possible volume range. Also note that with 3.5 jack input devices, for obvious reasons, you control the volume and music through the device and not the speaker. Overall, this speaker is the best bang for the buck. I'm glad I made the purchase.
