We loved this package. However it wasn't a disappointment for my 2.5 year old but for me I think we could do better. Yes, it's big in the waist as it covers a fairly wide range of sizes. The safety pins are okay. The big problem is that the tutu is not lined. These are just rows of tulle sewn to an elastic waistband. If your buddy has sensitive skin, you might find another option. Again, my daughter loves it. I just think it's some shit. So!
