When I ordered this telescopic fire hide I thought it was bigger than it is. When I opened it I thought I had been scammed. It's about the size of a ballpoint pen, but then expands and becomes much longer. I was expecting something more impressive and doubted it would make any difference. However, when I first used it, I was blown away by the extreme usefulness of this tiny tool. It made it so much easier for me to start the fire to get that much airflow and being able to direct the airflow very carefully was great. Now I like how small it is because it doesn't take up much space on my robe and I can keep it close to where I'm going to use it without having a huge, bulky tool nearby. an unexpected hit in my house how effective it is.
