I have found that it works much better when you use this water bead reamer. There is no dust on it and it will not crack or rip when used underwater. An old jeweler advised me to use water with bead reamers and it's worked great so far! The reamer comes with a protective tip cap and please note that you must be very careful as this reamer is very sharp and can easily puncture your finger. The handle is comfortable and the point is also a spiral shape where you need to "screw" the bead onto the reamer, just like other reamers where you insert the reamer and move the reamer. Very good reamer and would recommend to others threading beads. Just remember to use it underwater.
