This is a durable and spacious pet carrier. It fits my two 5 month old kittens comfortably and still has room. I think we can continue to use this stretcher for them as adults. I would say good for small dogs, most cats, small animals. The carrier is well ventilated. There are two openings. A mesh opening at the top and a clear plastic opening at the front. The front opening has two zippers for bilateral operation. The zippers seem reliable and of good quality. There are no sticking problems. Lined compartment inside. The floor mat is made of nylon-coated plastic. I use my own towels and blankets to provide more padding. The telescopic handle works smoothly. Four independent swivel wheels ensure a smooth ride and make the trolley very manoeuvrable. They're as good as my hand luggage on wheels. Well made from quality materials and components. It is odorless and does not need to be ventilated. While I like it, there is room for improvement. The backpack straps must be worn if you want to carry it as a backpack. There is extra padding covering the back of the stretcher to keep you comfortable if the stretcher rubs against your back. No place to store backpack straps or carrier liners when not in use unless you want to throw them in with your pet. If you leave the backpack straps on, they drag across the floor. Belts, clips, buckles - all of high quality. If you want to carry it in your hands, there's only one handle on the top, and the placement isn't centered on carrying, so it's not as stable. In fact, there is no manual carry. The handle is probably only an auxiliary handle for climbing curbs/steps, not a permanent carrying handle. We love it. My kittens have been to the vet twice in this carrier with no problems. People stop me to ooh and aah the carrier and of course the adorable kittens inside. When I'm not using the carrier I leave it with the doors open for my kittens to play, lie down, explore and get used to. Excellent porter. You will not regret it.
