The old running lights on my boat trailer still worked but the lenses were badly cracked so I decided to try these. I bought them on sale. The mounting holes did not match the existing holes so I had to drill a new hole for each mounting. I had to purchase 4 8-32 stainless mounting screws to mount them (2 for each light), the existing screws were too big for the mounting holes on the new LED lights. LED lights have two wired outputs, the body is not grounded to the bracket. The case is NOT waterproof so I used silicone sealant on all possible water inlets. Overall I'm happy with the brightness, only time will tell if they hold up. The old navigation lights were over 20 years old but they were made when this country was proud of itself.
