This smaller than expected mirror and activity book combo (see double page book for scale) provides high contrast images (black, white and red) which is crucial for baby's eye development from an early age is weeks; on the other side are colored pictures, very cute and child-friendly; Printing is clear on both sides. I mention this because I had a similar product with honestly scary and blurry images that I decided not even to show my daughter. This book and mat, on the other hand, are pure joy! I love that they kept the dinosaur book theme and all the images are "owned". The pages are interactive: between the fabric pages there is a squeaker, crumpled paper and a fluttering and crumpled pterodactyl wing. Both the mat and the book appear to be easy to clean. The mat has a child-safe mirror (don't forget the protective film before use) and two silicone teethers. It can be used as a tummy mat, folded into a "pyramid" and your child can only focus on one side at a time. You can attach the book to the pyramid or use it separately - it's up to you. finished and finished, well packaged (shipped in a colorful box) and reasonably priced. I would buy it for my kids or as a gift without hesitation. Thumbs up!
