I'm 36C and ordered medium. It's a little tight (although not "small"), but that's why I bought it. I needed a little extra support under my swimwear for church events (I'm embarrassed to be too "loose" when running) and this not only offers solid support but also has a higher neckline, which is a bit of a modest touch contributes! (Also, it extends further down the ribs/back so I don't get that awkward bulge of back fat under my suit! Sorry, maybe it's TMI.) It fits and looks like a sports bra. I wear it under my swim jersey so it's not visible, but I'd say it's definitely more functional than stylish.
