Good machine, great for Linux too

I needed a new computer. Mine is used for many tasks, staying in a fixed place and helping control the radio station. So some radios are hooked up along with the usual stuff, mouse, keyboard etc. I've had Acer computers before and never had a problem. When the computer arrived, I registered it over the internet, as did the Windows software. Since I'm using Kubuntu Linux, I downloaded Kubuntu 20.04 and dual booted the machine. It worked perfectly. Kubuntu recognized all the hardware with no problems. Now the machine works without any problems at the station. I think it's a very good device, it's fast, quiet and the built in wifi is a nice touch even though I'm using a wired connection. I think the keyboard is small but I was going to use my old Microsoft keyboard anyway and will make that change soon. I always worry about new equipment coming to my station if it interferes with my receivers, but so far so good. I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. It was a welcome addition and change from my previous car, which was almost ten years old.
