The included disc could not be used because it was in a different language and could not read English. I had to google com4 port errors and even that took a while. You need to find out what port your particular computer is using, mine was 10. After I got it working it was fine, but the fact that it came with no readable instructions or programming is really frustrating. I tried to install info from disk but couldn't get it to work because there was no translatable info on the labels so it just said? on the tabs and some strange letters. (non-chinese) Downloaded Chirp and voila everything worked perfectly. (I have baofeng bf888s). Nevertheless, I only give one star because the cable serves its purpose and is inexpensive. I just want them to warn you about their useless software.
