Self Test - The GFCI ground fault circuit breaker performs an automatic self test every 1-10 minutes to ensure it can respond to a ground fault. LED indicators on the front of the unit provide simple and intuitive information on power and protection status. If the indicator is solid green, the device is installed correctly and is providing proper power. If the display lights up red, this indicates a malfunction and immediate replacement.
