Beautiful camera, great customer service!

I installed this camera on my Wolf Pup 16FQ and am using it with a 10.2" Dasaita Android 10 head unit in a 2017 Ridgeline. Dasaita's Wi-Fi is pretty poor, but after updating the antenna the camera worked decently. There was still some lag and the occasional white screen. Rohent support helped me ensure the camera antenna was 3dB and that I was within the range limits exceeded, they even sent me a 7db antenna to try, 7db has the advantage that I could mount it closer to the car, about halfway to the trailer and now it works perfectly Full frame rate all the time and none Dropouts If you plan to use this on a caravan I strongly recommend a 7 or 9dB antenna mounted as far forward as possible, I suspect it will work as well as it does on the pop up -Trailer is as there is much less material to output using a Wi-Fi signal. Mode. Enough to avoid hitting anything, but not good enough to see where the tarmac meets the dirt without someone shining a flashlight on the ground. I'm sure it will work fine with the following setup. I was able to connect to the camera with a Nokia 6.1 running Android 10 and an older Galaxy S5, but not the newer Galaxy S20FE. I haven't tried to figure out why, and I don't have to, so I probably won't. I hooked it up to the trailer's running lights, so all I have to do is turn on the truck's headlights to use it. Wi-Fi takes a while to come up and I often have to persuade Dasaita to reconnect to it, but that's more of a problem with Dasaita. I wouldn't connect it to the car's reverse light like a normal rear view camera, it takes too long to connect. The software is pretty basic and doesn't remember anything, but loads quickly and gets the job done. A little counterintuitively, touching expands the video to full screen, which actually makes it work better. A fullscreen icon like video players would make the app easier to use, and it would be nice if it remembered when I disabled recommendations (they're set high anyway, they're useless). Overall I'm quite happy with this camera, although I did need a better antenna, which I suspected.
