Review on Sony PlayStation 5 game console 825 GB SSD, white/black midnight by Michal Wjcik ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Impressions from the purchase are good, buy.

I opted to pre-order the disc edition of the game. Unfortunately, I am not getting a direct WOW feeling from the purchase. After purchasing it, I simply detached the previous console and attached the newly acquired one. The console is merely jammed between two cushioning stands and its peripherals (gamepad, three wires, and stand) are put in a separate box. The packaging for the console is pretty mundane. The newer box features a more aesthetically pleasing solution. Because there is a fairly powerful computer at home, the console is not particularly impressed by it, but it is still assumed to be adequate. I am looking forward to the period of time between two and three years from now when the market will "accelerate" for a new generation. I was pleasantly surprised by how little noise there was (there were puffs only when I was loading the disk, and then occasionally, for three seconds at a random point in the game). The download speeds live up to the expectations. The loading time for any level in Demon Souls is approximately 1.5 seconds. The most positive reaction has been received for the new gamepad. You will very rapidly become accustomed to it, at which point you will appear to cease paying attention to it; yet, if you focus on the feelings, you will find that this is a genuine innovation. An entirely new degree of immersion in video games is made possible by the fact that each action in the game (if the feature is supported) can be awesomely given by vibration directly to the hands of the player. When you first start playing, you won't even be able to figure out what's going on because it looks like pieces from within the gamepad have broken off and are rolling around the body. The aspect that bothers me the most is the physical one. A significant component of Japanese culture, but I was not in attendance at any point. Put it on the shelf, and the only part that would be visible will be the front panel. This would work just great as it was previously. However, because the PS5 is so enormous, it did not fit on the shelf that I purchased from IKEA. As a result, I had to stack it vertically next to the television, which causes strain in my eyes. It can be challenging to condense one's thoughts on such a widely used product. If you enjoy playing games on consoles and are interested in this industry, then chances are you already own one or will do so at some point in the near future. If you are considering purchasing the first console, you should know that for 45,000 (or 37 for a diskless version), you absolutely will not be able to create a computer of this level, making the purchase of the console not a worthwhile investment. You can use the prefix as an additional device in your arsenal if you have a slick and strong computer in your home; but, you should not expect any revelations from using it.

Pros
  • - noise level - download speed - the gamepad's ergonomics and the tactile impressions it offers
Cons
  • - a contentious design - at the time this review was written, there had only been a limited amount of games developed exclusively for the PS5.
